Even the most attentive of motorists is likely to have experienced at least one moment where a split-second of distraction meant you became closer than you would like to driving into the back of another vehicle, so it is easy to understand why the propensity for distracted driving leads to thousands of rear-end accidents, both in San Diego and across the United States.

Changes in Driving Laws for 2022

Assembly Bill 3 promises to “crack down” on illegal street racing events. Events featuring racing and stunts, sometimes called sideshows, occur when people block a roadway to race, perform stunts, or other reckless driving. Sideshows have become very popular and very dangerous. CHP logged more than 25,000 reports of street racing last year — and that’s just one law enforcement agency.

Supporting San Diego LGBT Community Center’s Youth Housing

Supportive, positive environments are important for all young people to thrive. It may be especially true for LGBTQ youth, who are more likely than their straight peers to experience negative life and health outcomes. LGBTQ youth are more likely to face rejection by their families and bullying and harassment at school. They are more likely to battle isolation, rejection, and ridicule.

Spreading Holiday Cheer for Seniors

ElderHelp is a nonprofit organization that supports seniors all year long and sends a special gift during the holidays! ElderHelp’s Holiday Angels program delivers holiday cheer with a poinsettia plant, gift card, and a handmade card to 350 seniors in the San Diego community. Our firm participated by creating handmade cards for our San Diego Seniors!

Partnering with PATH

Our firm had the opportunity to volunteer with People Assisting the Homeless. PATH provides temporary financial assistance and short-term case management services to assist individuals who are homeless with obtaining permanent housing. Our team helped sort and organize donations at PATH’s Clothing Closet and create welcome home kits for newly housed individuals and families!

Karl Britt frequently preaches that God took his broken life of violence and drug addition and put it all back together again. That broken life led to 17 1/2 years of incarceration in Level 4 penitentiaries where Karl was housed with some of California’s most violent criminals.
